METAKOM SCW is the legal successor of the Steel Foundry - Pleven. Since its foundation in 1965 until today, the company has been producing steel castings and over the years we have expanded our portfolio with cast iron casting. On the territory of METAKOM SCW is located all the necessary equipment to ensure the production process:
‣ Section for making model equipment.
‣ Molding section: mixers "Omega" and "AMF" for the production of molding compound with "Alfacet" resin, casting crates with dimensions 1000 x 800 x 250/ 250 mm. for small-sized castings, casting crates with dimensions 1600 x 1250 x 300/ 300 mm. for medium-sized castings, casting crates with dimensions max. 5000 x 2400 x 1500 mm. for large-sized castings.
‣ Melting section: electric arc furnace 8 tons – 2 pieces, induction furnace 1.60 tons – 2 pieces, induction furnace 2 tons – 2 pieces.
‣ Cleaning and heat treatment section: hand sanders, pneumatic guns, shot blasting drums and chambers. Heat treatment furnaces: - chamber with dimensions 6500x2400x2400 - chamber with dimensions 1000 x 900 x 1900 mm. - chamber with dimensions 3000 x 2000 x 2000 mm. - oil/water quenching bath 2000x3000x1000 mm.
‣ Mechanical section: equipped with lathes, milling machines, CNC machining centers. We perform rough and final machining of parts. The quality of the products is guaranteed by:
